Matched Memory...

Hi guys,

I bought 2 lots of 2x1gb Ballistix pc8500, and each pair were matched.

Don't ask how, but i've managed to mix them up, so don't know which pair were matched. Any text on the sticks is identical. Is it really important to have the sticks matched in the right, or will all four in in all four slots run the same regardless?

If the batch number is the same then they will all be matched. Crucial don't test individual sticks to see if they match. They just pack two sticks from the same batch in the box.

Only if the batch numbers are different, but I bet they're not.
