Matched pair RAM or more RAM?

For the same price I can either upgrade my 16gb of RAM to a 32gb matched pair or 40gb unmatched.

Which would be best? This is mainly for Cities Skylines, which eats RAM.

Getting a matched pair is the safest option, for sure. It's easier to do mismatched if the memory is run at low clocks and standard timings.
