I have three Dell 20" panels at home, all of which shown a distinctly different colour temperature which is annoying the heck out of me as I cannot get a pair that match. They are
2005FPW
2007WFP A03
2007WFP A04
THe A04 is brand new and I was hoping to pair it with the A03 and sell the 2005, but the colour match is so different that I can't get along with them. Individually they are fine and dandy, no dead pixels on any of them and nice clear text and graphics, but put them together and they don't match
I am surprised the difference between A03 and A04 is so huge (and yes they are both IPS panels, I have checked), yet one requires the backlight on a wildly different setting to the other to match the brightness and even then the colours cannot be matched by hand using the RGB sliders.
If I buy another A04, what are the odds it would be an exact match for the one I bought this week? Has anybody else noticed this difference in what should otherwise be identical monitors with the same panel from the same manufacturer?
