Mate at work - £1500, for pc and keyboard and mouse

My mate has a hole buring in pocket and want a pre built system, but does not need a monitor, will be used for gaming, i dont know whats hot and whats not with cpus,and how much mem you need ect

Will get more bang for buck if you build it yourself, is that possible\an option?

What will the PC be used for and what monitor does he have as this can decide on a GPU brand.

50 series is out at the end of the month (30th of Jan) if he can wait that long

I would build it for him, but he was worried about if anything goes wrong, either with me building it, or aftercare support if it has any issues
