Hi guys. Basically my flatmate came back to his PC after work with norton (arg i know), saying there had been a problem and it needed to restart. He said restart later. Just now its blue screened with the "memory dump" error where the computer had frozen. Restarted the PC and it took ages at the bios screen before moving onto a prompt where it said, "insert disk media or change boot priority in bios". Went into the bios, the hard drive had been removed as priority and some "removable disk" was selected as the priority. Set it back to hard drive, restarted but the same prompt appears.

Does anyone know what the cause might be? I'm fearing the hard drive has just gone.

Cheers, Saint
