Mates CS:GO crashing...

Last few competitive mixes me and my mate have had , he's got a couple of rounds in then his computer has crashed , not sure what's causing it ? But it's got him banned as he couldn't get back in in time , and because it's happened more then once he's now banned for 7 days

Only this one game crashing? Only happen in competitive, what about casual matches?

He hasn't tried any others but yeah only seems to be In competitive ?

That's abit strange. Maybe ask him to run check on the game download. Right click and verify game cache or something it's called. It will look for damaged files and re-download if needed.

I had Nvidia Geforce Experience crash my game before after an update on GO a while ago, removing it stopped it but I have since started using it again with no problems, could see if he has a NV card and is on the latest version for it.

Any specific error messages?

I had something similar, used to crash during competitive. I fixed it by reducing graphic settings and disabling multi core processing in settings.

Has he got any over clocks? I used to, but had to take mine off as CS GO and Dark Souls 2 kept CTD'ing on me and now they run flawlessly.

I think his CPU is overclocked, but it's only just started happened and he's been playing since it came out
