mates, who needs them?

Ok this is how it goes, every friday night there is a party/drunken party. I have never been invited but that really doesnt bother me. my best friend 'laura' ( she has been having home problems), has asked another of my mates to one of these 'parties' tomoz night , but the weird thing is that she told her not to to tell me in case i wanted to come!
am i just being stupid, cause this really hurts my feelings, or should i get new mates?

ive just spoken to the girl who she invited and she doesnt know why she doesnt want me to come. Im actually really upset cause laura is meant to be my best mate and ive done so much for her! **** her i got mark!!

UPDATE!!

ok i asked this girl who was asked along if it was true and she said yes, and then she started saying about how i always with mark at lunch, how i neglect them by spending too much time with him blah blah blah!! But then she said that her had laura have been talking bout it for ages but hadn't thought to talk to me about it which you would do if you had a problem with a mate!! The other thing is that apparently weneva i do go out with them i am always talking bout mark, and want to be with him not them ( i have mind reading friends!!) but the thing is i have only been out with them twice!! Oh and the reason for me not going with them at lunch is cause they dont ask me if i wanna go, and they are gone up town before i get to my form room ( its like the year meeting place sort of thingy)
but **** them i dont need them!!!

have i done the right thing or no? lol
oh and thanx for all the advice!!
and IRELAND BEAT ENGLAND IN THE 6 NATIONS HAHAHAHAHA!!! ( 3/4 irish hehe)

mark=MarkLp!! He is my boyfriend, but i dont think i go on about him. But if i do talk about him its because i want to distract laura from her problems and then we usually go on to talk about something else. But tommorrow i am going to let her try and explain and if she wants to make friends thats cool but i know where i stand!
