You know, the shrink wrapped ones.

Package says to microwave them. However, do you think they would ok sliced up and cooked in a pasta bake?

I know they are pork and that can be dodgy to reheat.

That's exactly what I had for my dinner last night, and also some reheated for lunch today.

We have this once a week and I've not keeled over yet! :)

It'll be totally fine, they're that far removed from a natural pork product you shouldn't have any problems :p

I used to eat them raw, man up man, jesus, it's just a big hotdog.

A good strong immune system isn't built by a careful personality.

I don't think I've ever cooked one to be honest, they're already cooked anyway so eating it cold makes no difference.

I pretty certain you can eat it hot or cold as it's precooked. Much like hot dogs from a jar / can.

Either that or I should have died in my student years as I've done it sliced straight into my cooked pasta (tossed with some cheese and oil), sandwiched it with bread and butter, and even ate ends whilst I was slicing them for fried rice / pasta bakes.

Not one incident.

You can eat it cold, or microwave it. If you slice it up and fry it then it gets crispy on the edges - good for quick pasta meal :D

these things are one of my guilty pleasures. With mac and cheese and ketchup

This?

I've never heated one up!

From their website:

Ready to tear into and devour right away. Or, if you can stand to wait, slice it up and throw it into pasta dishes, stir-frys or onto pizzas.

Been having this stuff with pasta for years, although not on a regular basis.Best option is to slice it then throw it in the frying pan until its nice n crispy.NOM. Also try the spicy one if you see it.
