Step 1 find the term rule
Step 2 Position to term rule = +2n = 2n
Step 3 = Place 2 on top of first number in the sequence

It's her last question, it's way above my head hate maths :p

I thought it was -n

10-n

You can see it's decreasing by the same amount each time, 1, so the difference from the first term is "n."

If you went back a term to find out the very first term then you'd have 10.

So the answer is 10-n.

Consider :

Value : 10 9 8 7 6 5
Term : 0 1 2 3 4 5

Whaa? I don't understand this lol. A level maths/further maths has not prepared me for this!

Does step 3 mean add 2 to the element when n=0 ?
And step 2 ???????
:eek::o
