matrix orbital

Hi guys, I am not sure where to put this.
I have built a home server.

Windows server 2012 r2 essentials.

And found my old matrix orbital lx 24 lcd diplay.

I have installed the usb drivers ect and it is recornised. the problem I am currently having is some software to run it.

I would like to display hds, uptimes ect ect. now with the matrix orbital display came a lcdc, but it is such a long time since a realease of it. I tried to install it, it installs fine. but alas when you try and run the program. it just doesn't run.
being as the software is so old I cannot find any solooutions to this. I have also tried lcd smartie whch starts up and works, I just get wiered characters basicly useless.

Does anyone have any sugestions for me to try please.
its driving me nuts, and the lcd panel would be so usefull.

I've an old matrix orbital LCD display around here somewhere as well. Haven't tried it out in years!

Have you tried the software they offer on their web site? You could also try their support forum - http://www.lcdforums.com/forums/index.php

they haven't updated it in years. and the forums are dead worse luck.

It is a cgreat shame I have 2 of them I wanted to use one in my server as it would be so handy to see disk usage, and also net stats ect ect.
