Matrix Reloaded- anyone else notice this?

I always find it funny when people ruin films for themselves :).

I'm terrible for it.

Watching Raiders of The Lost Ark the other night and during the shootout in Marion's bar, Indy's pistol changes from a revolver to an automatic.

His German foes were carrying a P38 pistol and an MP40 SMG which were released in 1938 and 1940 respectively. The film is set in 1936.

It's not as bad as in the first Matrix when there's that close up of the door knob (I think when they go to see the Oracle) and in the reflection you can see the cameraman disguised to look like Morpheus's outfit.

What has been seen cannot be unseen!

Or films that involve car chases, and the car appears intact in several shots later where it's "suppose" to be battered / smashed up.

I'm sure it happened in Quantum of Solace.

Even as a kid i used to notice that in shows from the 80's, Dukes of Hazzard especially, big jump over a river, lands almost folded in half, next shot it's perfect and driving away....annoyed the **** outa me :D

I noticed that the first time I saw it and yeah it bugs me too every time I see it :P
I can only assume that when he gets knocked down by the Agent and it has the shot of him looking down at the sword, it is in the same place, but when he goe to reach for it, which we dont really see, he has to lean down further somehow to actually be able to grab it.

I suppose you could say there is a flaw before that, when he puts the sword into the truck in the first place. He's like kneeling or something I think, so it should be about arms length down, but then after that he jumps on it and it is here you can see it is almost full body length down. This sort of negates my previous assumption.

I guess its just badly done, and an obvious flaw.

:D the suspension would clearly collapse, the bonnet would fold up like an accordion and they'd still be going.

Them good ol' boys.

I got outbid on one a few years ago, on ebay.

Wanted to do it up as a wedding car for hire, but missed the auction end as I was out at the time.

There's conversion kits for the later models, as they wrecked so many of the 1969.

They lampooned that in RoadTrip, where they make a jump but the car is literally wrecked afterwards.

Thanks for the link, several lols from me... it's just AWESUM.

Missed the first mistake I noticed watching the film.

Neo and Trinity standing on top of the elevator filled with explosives.
The grab the pulley cable, and cut the other, sending the elevator to the ground.

The problem? One of two things could happen:

A. Elevator hits the ground floor before the reach the top of the shaft, meaning they would no longer be being pulled up, and would fall down the shaft themselves.

B. They get to the top of the shaft before it hits the ground, splattering them into the ceiling and/or pulley/axel.

Solution?

An "Ooh! Aah!" slow-mo explosion to distract the audience.

Yeah, and that bit where he dodges the bullets is totally unrealistic as well!
