Matroska File Splitter? (as in, big file to small files)

Hey all,

I've got a large .MKV file I'd like to split into 2 small ones so I can burn them to DVDs. However, while I can find free .AVI splitters, I can't seem to find one for MKV.

Anyone got any suggestions?

does virtualdub allow you to work with mkv's?

set the video and audio to 'direct stream copy', then use Home/End keys to select the sections to split
