matte screens

To me it appears that most laptops on offer have these horrible gloss screens, I can't concentrate on what's going on because I can see reflections going on behind me.

Does anyone know what models from what manufacturers are available with matte screens? I know the dell vostros are available with this feature (which I have now), can anyone point me to models with a matte screen options.
 
Have you used any of the gloss screen laptops? I was dead against them the first time i saw one (A sony a few years ago i think) it was just so shiny! However i've got a dell xps studio 16 now, I do a lot of image editing so i was a bit worried about the screen, but its great- sure its glossy but i dont really notice the reflections too much. YMMV of course :-)
 
Ok food for thought, I think the thinkpads are out of my price limit. And think perhaps I'm excluding the glossy screens to my detriment. I guess I'd rather have hdmi out than the matte screen.

Regarding glossy screens, I think it depends on screen brightness and glare from the sun / lights etc

basically, business-grade notebooks will come with proper (matte) screens. have a look at Dell Vostros - they're very affordable :)
