Accidental drowning apparently. For some reason, with all the various troubles he has had in his life, I always figured he would be the first of the Friends cast to go, but not this age though. RIP

Sad, watched reruns of friends for decades even though seem them countless times before.
And his film 'the whole nine yards' is a secret favorite of mine.

Quite a shocking thing to wake up to really. I loved the show during and after its time and its hard to believe someone so talented could have such a chaotic lifestyle. RIP Chandler Bong.

This one has actually knocked me a little, since hearing the news on waking I can't shake it from my mind. As he's such an iconic figure from my formative years (i'm 44) and multiple rewatches of the series since it ended, it's almost like losing a friend, no pun intended.

I was obsessed with this show back in the day and he was easily the best character in my opinion.

I grew up watching Friends. While I've grown out of that show now, this still knocked me back. I'll remember him fondly from Fallout New Vegas too.

54 is far too young, regardless of his past troubles. RIP.

not huge friends fans but i did like him in the films he did. Fell he got type cast from friends
