I've had a look around the internet and havn't found the answers i'm looking for.
I have a server which is used for hosting games, and as an ftp box run 24/7
Specs as follows:
AMD Athlon XP 2200+
512mb Sdram
200GB IDE WD Caviar HDD
PCchips SiS chipset board
I feel it could do with a cheap upgrade and the first thing to come into my mind is Sempron 64. I plan on trying to grab a new or used Sempron 64 and mobo at some point but I am just wondering, which motherboard?
Could someone guide me towards a microatx 754 board which is good for 24/7 usage and preferably capable of 300HTT, within a £40 budget new or used?
I have so far looked at:
Biostar 6100-M7 nF410
Asus K8V-MX <--- Via chipset any good?
Gigabyte K8N51GMF nF410
Asus K8S-MX
