Well its time to upgrade from my bx chipset 1.4G slocketted celeron setup with go-faster stripes to something quieter, smaller & faster- in that order of preference. It has served me well though- 8 years of daily usage!
So i'm thinking of AM2 or 939 setup and MATX mobo with IG - which I will upgrade to dx10 next year...
Questions:
Would an xpress200 or 6150 graphics better my current GF3? I know they are both slow but my GF3 when overclocked is fine for occasional gaming at 1280x1024.
Have any Matx / case /barebones suggestions? what is the overclock potential of matx?
If you run with IG then I'm assuming that high end / dual core processors are a waste for most applications? Would a sempron suffice?
