I recently had a thread for a build for a ITX case, but I've now gone and bought a TJ08, so looking for some advice on a build for this.

I have a rough idea of what to go in and how I'm going to go about doing it, but thought I'd check in here first. ;)

I plan on getting a basic dual core for the mo until Ivy is out, then I can see if its worth going for it or getting a 2500k.

I already have the case, an Intel 520 180GB SSD and 8GB of HyperX.

Budget for the rest is ~ £500 including a Celeron G530 for the moment.

Build wise, what I'm thinking at the moment is something along the lines of this:

I'm not too sure whether the Gigabyte G1 Sniper M3 would be a better bet seeing that its cheaper.

Any advice would be great. :D
 
Ok, the TFIII looks pretty nice. Going to go for the Maximus V as it has an 8 pin CPU power connector instead of 4 - might help it overclock better ;)

Anyone else? Looking to order this tonight.
 
That looks great, gonna be one hell of a build.

You gonna be OCing? Don't forget an aftermarket cooler.

Id go for the TFIII if you can, i have a GTX 460 HAWK (TFII) and it is a lot cooler than the old card i had, under load and idle.

You womt get much of an OC from a G530, 2.5Ghz if your lucky.
 
You won't be doing much heavy gaming on a £29.99 dual core.
If you can afford to wait another 3 weeks then I wouldn't bother trying to get it running until ivybridge is released.
Plus, you can by the components over this time when you seen them on offer to save yourself a few quid ;)
 
I've been waiting for over two months, and having to use a computer with a single core athlon, 512mb ram, ide hdd at the moment is a bit of a pain ;)
 
Got it all setup yesterday and after a few issues with the ram, its all setup and running fine now :D

BTW, if you don't have an SSD, you're missing out.
