Hi,

I'm putting together a mATX build for my Dad, it's probably overkill for him but he wants something "good". Any issues you can see or recommendations?

CoolerMaster MasterBox Q300L
MSI AMD Ryzen B450M PRO-VDH MAX
AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
WD Blue 500Gb m2
Toshiba P300 3.5" 3TB (he has lots of images and files to store)

Ram wise I was going to go with Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz C16 for £69.98, any issues you see?

PSU I'm stumped as stock is scarce, would 500Watt be enough?

GPU I'm just going to pick up something basic for him from the Members Market as I'm not convinced he'll need much but he might surprise me!

Cheers

Could always go for the 3200g, has inbuilt graphics. Vega8 is more than capable for general work stuff.

Can always add in a graphics card later and 500w is more than you need really, with no graphics card even 450w is fine.

I was going to suggest that too, I just built my dad a PC too, I used similar parts, but I used a 3400G, MSI B450 Mortar Max and 16gb 3200mhz Hyper X Fury RGB, I threw a 550w EVGA PSU in there for good measure and also just in case later (maybe Xmas time) I diecide to get him a low powered stand alone GPU to add to it, however im very impressed with the speed of it.

I was playing the game called "Inside" on it the other day, its not super graphically intense, but its just his level of game, adventure / puzzle, it ran as smooth as silk.
