prob formula unless you need it silent ?

Doesn't have to be silent, but like to go with recommendations as many of you here pick the best of the rest.

Forgot to mention with prices tumbling soon would you guys recommend a RX 570 over a RX 580 if I was to choose the 1600 especially to fit inside a budget.

If it was a choice between:
A) 1600 + 570, or b) 1400 + 580,
Then (b) 1500 + 580 is the better choice.
Always get the best GPU within budget.

Of course (c) 1600 + 580 would be the best choice :D

see Thursday at 2pm :) believe RX 590 launches, might see 580 prices fall a little. but that MSI 570 8GB is nicely priced

Either 1 of the 2 suggested I will buy hopefully this Thursday.

My thoughts entirely and hopefully a 1600 + RX 580 might be on the cards for her this week.

Do you both know of a damn good mATX case, was looking at the Level 20 VT?

id push 570 or 590, 580 is going to look the really awkward card personally

that isn't badly priced but if you can get case £40-50 instead of £80.. means extra case to the hardware :D

seen Jonsbo mATX cases... damn nice :D

I'm going to push for just that, 1600 + RX 590 although depending on the price of the RX 590? Any ideas or price leaks?

I've seen the Jonsbo mATX cases, they are very nice.

I want my daughter to have something of quality, not plasticky.

I currently have the Obsidian 500D and she likes the look of it, until I showed her the Level 20 VT with RGB.

Not going down the RGB road as I've gifted my Razer keyboard and mouse already to her, this will do!

What's the InWin 301 like for airflow, did read that it suffers badly from the lack off. Do like the look of both!

I can't imagine a baby Meshy C, this thing was compact enough as is... but a mini one? I might be tempted now to get this as I used to own the regular.

Just get a cheap case with decent airflow.
It's not as if you're staring at the case whilst using the computer :p
Means more money to spend on the internals = better performance.
Unless you want go-go-faster racing stripes, in which case, performance x1000% :D

No, that is true... will be spending the extra on a PSU, but so much choice!

Noticed be quiet! has another addition to throw into the mix... Pure Power 11 CM?

That's exactly the post I found earlier, the RMx it is.

Memory 2666 or 3200 pending on prices? Seen a kit of LPX 2666 2x8GB for £97.

I run 3200 in my PC and can't really tell the difference as I've never had memory that low?

3000hz is the safe bet normally unless.your going B Die for 3200h,.

£140 with Antec series 3 but have to use ryzen calculator to get speed up etc

OP doesnt really need a tier 1/2 PSU really now...
it's not as if its going to power a 9900k under LN2 + 2080ti SLI with super monster jiggahertz overclock, and require rock solid voltages 110% of the time...
a decent mid-range PSU that provides ~500w continuous on the 12V rail is more than sufficient.

570 on deal would save cash, 590 £130 game bundle is awesome ! Guessing a lot of CD keys will pop up

Those games are not released yet though so maybe awhile yet before we see a barrage of keys.

Your probably right, don't want to skimp in this area either. I'm open to suggestions and ideas so fire away. Want to get the best I can for the cash.

Can get the Pure Power 11 CM Gold for £64.99.
