Hi,

I have been out of the PC hardware circle for a few years and i am looking to build a mini itx gaming pc that could sit in the living room.

Could anyone give me advice and pointers as to a decent system.

I am into the typical games like Total War, Skyrim but also FSX and FPS games.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Budget up to £600 or less...

Thanks

Bri

Does it need to be a "flat" type case (adds to cost) or would a small "boxy square/rectangle"(cheaper, better for cooling usually) one do?

A small boxy square case would work for me as well, as you said typically this type is better for cooling.

That's a MATX motherboard.

Also with it being in his living room I went for lower noise, in my experience those Sivlerstone PSUs are fairly noisy, especially the cheap ones.
