mATX mobo questions

Hi basically interested in upgrading my Asus P5E-VM HDMI (G35 chipset) to the ASUS P5QL-EM (G43 chipset) and have two questions.

1) Are there any real significant changes between the G35 and G43 chipsets?

2) Does the ASUS P5QL-EM iG43 support RAID? Can't find this as a listed feature anywhere and this is a must for me. I'd like to believe my researching abilities but thought someone here might know for sure

PCIe 2.0 and ICH8>10 are the only differences if you use a discrete GPU really and neither will actually matter. It doesn't support RAID (ICH10 not 10R), you need the P5Q-EM for that. Early reports are that neither OC as well as the P5E-VM or G33 boards.
