I have been out of the loop for along time, convenience and cost kept my stuck to the console market. Also you can run Wow on a calculator so my laptop has been fine. However im now finally about to graduate and hopefully will have money by summer so im starting to design a new rig.

Im fine with choosing most of the components but i'm really stuck between choosing

Asus maximus V gene

or

Gigabyte sniper m3


Is the Asus worth the extra £20?

Im gonna bide my time till june-ish for the Corsair c70 case and will be more than likely opt for a IB proc. Rig will be for Gaming only, an I doubt i'll want more than 2 card SLI

June-ish there will probably be new boards, and plenty more reviews of existing boards, and possibly revisions of existing boards. I would just wait. I looked at those boards too, but ended up choosing a less expensive one, because I wasn't really going to be over-clocking or using dual-graphics cards.
