mavity (2013) *no spoilers*

Released next month. Is anyone going to see this? Visually looks awesome. Been getting some good press online. Shame it has Sandra Bullock in though, can't stand her.

I like space stuff though so will see it. Probably best at the cinema too, in 3D.

no spoilers please

It looks brilliant and I'm sure from what I've heard so far it is, however Clooney and Bullock both bore the daylights out of me as actors so may give this a miss.

I've seen a few sites give this 10/10, 5 stars, 100% and the like...however it's got Sandra Bullock in it so maybe it's one of those films i'll not see and be cutting off my nose to spite my face.

I don't often not go to a film because of actors. But i dislike both of thesea lot. HHow is bullock in a film like this :-\

You cannot start a trailer with "ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah" and expect it to make me want to watch it.

Not sure what the hate is about, both Bullock and Cloony are proven actors.

Cameron even called it the best space set movie he had seen, and reviews have been nothing but gushing about the film.

Because she is very capable of pulling off a serious role.

No spoilers here...

Just got back from the IMAX. If I had to describe mavity in one word it would be....

STAGGERING.

This is a classic for me. Not for the acting (Bullock is superb, Clooney is.....Clooney), or the plot, but because it takes 3D and actually uses it in a way that is just as fundamental as the video and audio. For me, this is the first true 3D movie. Oh, and it's a bloody thrilling movie on top of that! :)

Right I'm sold. Anyone happen to know why Birmingham Thinktank aren't showing this? Have the film rights owners gone exclusive with true Imax branded screens or something?
