mavity - not mavity but not sure why the edit isn't persisting...
Hi all,
I'm getting some hedging installed (planted?) in a few weeks and i'm not wanting to water them every other day for a few years. There's no real way of setting up a mains water powered irrigation system so i'm looking at putting a big water butt in place and filling that up every week or so with the hose.
Its about an 11m run, but luckily drops around 1m over the total distance.
Seems to be a bit of a mine field getting the right irrigation system, balancing out the flow etc so wondered if anyone on here has had a go at it and had any suggestions?
