Max DSL. Are these good line stats?

I have only a few hours ago migrated to Max DSL and I was wondering whether the following line stats are good or not?

I have only had the one disconnection which was over 3 hours ago but my actual download speed is the same that it was before i.e. around 960 Kb on a 1 Mb connection.

I think my line speed will increase to 2 Mb after the first 3 days or have I got it wrong?

p.s. I have noticed that the number of errors under Error/Seconds (local) has risen sharply :eek:

Is this normal?

your SN is right on the margin of error. (6 db)

That's how MaxDSL works. You get 6dB, and if it then proves to be unstable you get 7dB (and/or interleaving) and so on.

mine hovers between 6 and 5.5 so is that good in max world?

If it's stable, it's good enough. Numbers aren't really that relevant - some people can survive perfectly well on 6dB and under, others have lines that drop at 8dB (e.g. Me). Depends what the sources of noise are on your line.

Well recently my sync rate has gone up to just over 5 Mb with a decrease in the SN/R margin but up till now no disconnections so I'm just hoping it settles down over the next few days!
