Max DSL + Migration Question

Im currently with plusnet but have been looking at migrating away for a while now.

I have found my new isp and want to migrate.
My exchange is now on green for adsl max, while im still on 2 meg with plusnet. If I migrate now to a max service on a new ISP, will I automatically get 8 meg (if my line supports it)?

In time perhaps, but with over 200, 000 customers and only 700 orders a day, thats a long waiting time to get to max dsl

Im looking at going to nildram, seeing as they dont shape.
