Max GPU temp?

My XFX 4890XT keeps hitting 100+'c. Is this normal for ATI?

*Edit* PC keeps locking up and getting stupid lines on my display.

Think RMA time.

give it a clean with compressed air.

my card don't exceed 72c at load and thats under furmark.

Did that all 3 days ago, cleaned the whole of my case also. My 4890 idles at 72 with 50% fan speed!

Just put back in my 8800GTS and requested an RMA.

Actually, just gave my card a blow and more dust came out. Going to give it another blast with air tomorrow and give it another try.

Yep, RMA it. Doesnt sound right, especially in this weather we're having now. It doesnt feel like England.

Gave my card another clean out, idles at 63'c and gets no hotter than 86'c.
