Max Memory 4Gb Memory Unit for Xbox 360

Does anyone have this memory card for the 360?

I've heard that it doesn't work anymore with the newest update?

I was tempted to get one due to having quite a lot of games from live etc & to backup my live accout a tad sceptical now though

Yep, MS banned 3rd party memory cards (not HDD's) during the last major dash update. Don't think there has been any change of stance by them as yet, although Datel threatened to take them to court.

Ahh thats a pain :/ oh well 512MB isnt even worth it i can't remove my HDD and bring it to my GF's can i? and use it over hers?

If you're moving HDDs around you will need to be connected to Live for your Arcade games to show up as the full versions I think, otherwise they will be trials.

Well you might as well try it first, it could have changed now but I know it used to be the case when I swapped my HDD between consoles.

Oh I forgot to say, a certain catalogue based high street store is selling the Max Memory card, and they have no excuse as they catalogue only came out the other month. Some people will be buying them and not knowing.

Yeah i know i was going to get it from Argos thought id ask here before i went out and bought one doing research as such

Anyhow ill just have to cope! or take borderlands over hers and start again heh
