Hey guys, just ordered a few new parts from OC and was wondering what kind of overclock I could expect from it all, I was hoping for the 3GHz but I'll let you guys decide.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 "LGA775 Conroe" 1.86GHz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775)
Gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 & DDR3
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C3 667MHz Dual Channel Kit
Asus GeForce EN7600GS Silent HTD 256MB DDR2 HDTV/DVI (PCI-Express)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB ST3250620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache

Was also wondering if I had made a mistake, I had been advised to get the DS3R with the 5300 Crucial in another thread, but does the motherboard support it?
Although I have seen someone else in another thread that had obviously used 5300 memory with this board and had clocked it up. Just wanted to make sure really.

Also could this system run Vista in the future if I wanted to upgrade to Vista.

Should be fine as it has DDR2 slots.

Should fly.

As for clocking on my brothers system I managed to get his 6320 to 3.3Ghz on 965 DS3P, with the P35 it should be even better as it is capable of even higher bus speeds.

Keep an eye on the temps though as the ACFP7 isn't a stellar cooler.

Yea I know it's not the best cooler but it should be better than the stock at least. I just wanted to hit the magic 3GHz. Yea I queried about the memory as they claim you can only used 6400+ but I wasn't sure still as DDR2 is DDR2 at the end of the day. Thanks for the reply Will :)

EDIT: PHEW! http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Spec.aspx?ProductID=2551
Apparently it does support 667MHz DDR2 but the Crucial isn't on the support list. Hmm lol. I'm pretty convinced that it will run crucial 5300 now though.
