Max Payne 2: Dead Man Walking

I know it's an old game, but found myself installing it again recently to have a go while i'm saving for my new rig. Anyway, I installed it and completed it AGAIN. Have been having fun with the "Dead Man Walking" section especially in the Manor yard. Managed to get to 13mins 26secs. which I thought was quite good.

Anybody else got any times from this?

This is the mode where you have to survive as long as you possibly can?

If so, I rarely managed more than ten minutes, except for the one in a garden, I think it was - I got 18

I did like the one where you start inside some shed, I think - though I doubt I even got more than ten...

You have got me thinking about installing it again. After HL and HL2 i would rate this as one of my most enjoyable gaming experiences.

Single Player was terrible, took me about an hour on easy :\.

I got one and a half hours, but that was with a unlimited health hack

Single player took me about two weeks to complete. It's a great game with loads of attention to detail and inside jokes.

I spent an hour on the Police Station level alone

Cause afaik you have to play it on easy for the first time... or is that Max Payne 1?

Pretty good story in mp2. Liked it a lot i thought it delivered what mp 1 had the potential to be. Playing through another rockstar classic gts sa atm!

I cant help but laugh at the people who rush thorugh a game, and say "omg, wtf, lame, did it in 1/2 hours, crap" etc etc. Only yourselves to blame.

If you rush through things in life as you do your games...well...gotta feel a little sorry for your future girlfriend

Nah, I only wanted to get to New York Minute and unlock Dead Man Walking

, and it was way too easy. Try rushing through something like Dungeon Siege on easy

In all fairness it is a short game. A very good one but short. I played it in bits to try and extend the playing time but this time round I think I completed the first easy part in about 2 1/2 hours.

Wonder what the all time best is for Dead Man Walking, the only level possible for a lengthy time must be the "Manor Yard" cos it's the only level with space and a van to hide behind when the bullett time runs down

those levels are ace - i love shoving on a mod - like cinema mod

and running about with the mini-gun - tis brilliant fun
MP2 was a great fun game - we raced through it at the uni house recently an i got pwned by my housemates

Poets of the Fall song at the end r0x - got a load more of their stuff and it's great ! ...

Dungeon siege on easy is very easy......

Dungeon Siege 2 me and a mate, whole day today taking it slow, 1 death and 1 chapter down.

max payne 2 is one of the only games that I class as having a REAL story. The voice acting is superb, and the way its presented is great. The game is very short but at least its good. It cou8ld have been long and boring.
