One of the best games ive ever finished!

i love it, the shooting, the accuracy of a headshot, the puzzles, its awesome graphics!

will there be an MP3 ??

I hope so the last one was brilliant, even better than the first. For me it was the first game to have physics other than UT2003 ragdoll ones. I would recommend anyone who hasn't played this game to get it as a stocking filler for Christmas as it can be picked up on budget all though I think it might be hard to come by. It doesn't even look that dated and should easily run on 99% of gaming machines out there.

The only thing concerning me about the third installment if there was one would be how they could develop it further, I mean MP2 came across as so honed and polished. Quite difficult to trump. I mean take Splinter Cell for example, just as the series was becoming long in the tooth they did an overhaul on it introducing Double Agent which I have yet to play. I think that MP3 would be ready for this kind of magnitude of change to the series.

mp3 would have online play obviously , sort of like a deathmatch but in third person view , would be good

How would bullet time work then?

Probably like FEAR multi player. You speed up a little while everyone else slows down a tad. Personally I would scrap the whole death match thing and introduce a Co-Op mode so when one person slows down time they both slow down. The only problem here I would see is that somehow you would have to introduce a re-playability factor to levels otherwise the levels once played a few times would become boring. I would think a Goldeneye approach would work well here, In Goldeneye single player you had to beat levels in certain times on certain difficulties to unlock cheats which you could use to play longer as it added another dimension to the game (DK Mode anyone!

) and ultimately rewarded the player. This could extend the multi player co-op life significantly, but obviously not as long as a MMORPG or Counter Strike. Just long enough to warrant the multi player mode being there.

Aren't the developers of Max Payne making Alan Wake?

Max Payne is about the only single-player game i've played through more than once and it also had some pretty cool Mods.

Max Payne 2 was the first game I played with all the fancy physics. Some really cool levels in that game, and the mini games are good for a spare 15 minutes. Looks good for a game thats 3 years old.

I don't think there's going to be another Max Payne, but Stranglehold looks like it could be just as good as Max Payne, maybe even better. It looks awesome :eek:

If you've got Half Life 1 download "The Specialists" mod. That has it, and it works real nice.
