Max Payne 3 - How else can i get it?

So i own Max Payne 3, But i cannot play it as when i launch it on Steam.
i try to Login to the old Rockstar Social BS & it thinks i don't own the game on that account & kicks me out.
you can play the game without logining in.

so i cannot play it. However i really want to play through it again.

I can't delete the game out of my Steam as it wont let me.
You cant buy it on Origin.

thoughts on how to play it legally? i don't mind purchasing it again.
 
I would contact Rockstar directly and ask whats going on with your account. You have it in Steam as proof of purchase so they cant say you dont own it.

Did Rockstar not do away with Social, I don't own any other Rockstar games apart from GTAV and I am sure it is not there any more.
 
so odd this morning it was in my library now its not :o maybe steam actually deleted it

edit they did! so now i got buy it again. hopefully that fix the issue

I remember with Dirt 3 they actually brought out a Steam edition that had GFWL removed, as they did away with GFWL and the original Dirt 3 did not work on Steam
 
well ive gone through my steam libary and removed about 50+ games ill never play again libray feels so clean now :D

Hmmm I have Max Payne 3 in my library, I reinstalled then uninstalled it worked just fine so I reinstalled it to played it again now. No issues logged in Rockstar Social.

Have you tried pasted Max Payne 3 CD Key to register it on Rockstar Social?

Also you probably got bugged Steam client caused Max Payne 3 vanished from your library, I suggest you to check for Steam client updates.

trouble is RS think my key is accoated with an account not related to my steam.

i requested it be removed permentantly from my account. it failed but a day later its gone. so now i can rebuy it & try :)

10 minutes! Pah, I'm still prepping myself to play MGS4 for the first time and I've some horror stories...
 
I thought you could skip cutscenes in MGS4? Never played it, but I always thought that Max Pyne 3 was the only one with unskippable cutscenes. I didn't mind on my first playthrough, but boy did it grate when trying to replay some missions... 2 minutes gameplay, 4 minutes cutscene that you cant skip, 5 minutes gamplay, 2 min cutscene etc etc
