Max Payne 3 PC, any issues ?

Played through the single player - zero issues.
Install takes a while if you're installing from discs - and my install is 28.3GB
Some of the cut scenes are a bit too long, but I enjoyed the game - more than I expected to actually.

Agreed on this, took a good 30mins to get into the proper action. Before that you get like 1minute gameplay per 5min cutscene. Slightly annoying.

One thing that has massively impressed me is:
I have not seen one single loading screen. Not sure how they've done it but the game NEVER stops to load, it's brilliant! You could play the came for 8 hours straight and be completely immersed.

Because it is loading the levels during the cut scenes, its nothing ground breaking, tons of games have done it.
I'd edit the 'you could play the ---- for 8 hours' part of your post before you no doubt get morderated and suspended. Been there done that.

.thanks for the quick replies, i bought it from play.com, so i assume its four dvds is that correct ? looking forward to it now, will be playing it on saturday hopefully, will it be a long install from the 4 dvds ?
Took me about 15 minutes to install, you shouldn't buy things from Play they are awful these days. I preordered Diablo 3 months before release and got it on the 21st, 6 days after release. They just aren't what they used to be anymore!

Yeah i agree...Play used to be really good years ago im quite supprised people are still buying from them to be honest these days
Remember when you could pre order from Play and get the game a day before release? I miss those days, now you have to pray it comes on release, or the day after if your lucky.

Started playing through it yesterday afternoon. As others have said, took a little while to download on Steam, but after that absolutely no problem at all. Works perfectly across three screens, even cut scenes and menus. With my setup (single 7970 at max CCC settings) am getting 100+ FPS with everything on highest, full FXAA and no MSAA (FXAA and MSAA don't seem to play too well together and FXAA looks good with almost no performance hit).
Thoroughly enjoying the single player game at the moment. Might venture into the other modes when complete, but too interested in the story at present.

ran great on my 460gtx well i say great i mean 40fps @ 1080p with 2x aa and 16af
it was smooth with no jerky turkey mind and i didnt have a single crash during the campaign
