Any idea of what this is going to be like? worth a pre-order??? is it gonna be a classic port or a true succesor to a Classic franchise???

Lets hope its good. Although the guys making it need a new marketing team, hardly heard anything about since it was announced.

I can see the release date of the game pushed back, in a couple of weeks time. I don't think it'll be ready for the end of March.

seems strange to not give any info on the game, think all that i have seen so far is a couple of screenshots ,especially if its coming out at the end of march

Just had a look on play to see if they also have march 30th release date, but on there it is due to come out on the 1st of October, which seems much more likely at this point

Take-Two has confirmed that the release of Max Payne 3, originally expected early 2010, will now be releasing in the second half of next year, sometime between August and October.

Looks like turd to me anyway. Not one single person responsible for Max Payne 1+2 will be working on this title anyways; It'll be akin to farcry 2.

You remember those Brazil screenshots, with a bald Max Payne? Yeah... they scrapped that completely and started all over again.

Orly? Well then i know absolutely nothing about the title now then it seems. Either way i still reckon it'll be a turd. You tend to find that when a IP is handed over to a completely new set of people the 'feel' is lost.

The official site still shows him as a baldy.

It might end up a decent game but it wont be Max Payne other than in name.

Its not that bad. I was quite surprised that Bioshock 2 was delivered last week. I pre-ordered it months ago and totally forgotten about it. Just a shame that the new Stalker game came first.

The game's story just went through another total re-write earlier this month (the third that I am aware of in the past two years) and that [means] the team would have to have all of the content done by April or May to make that August release date

Closest I've found. The Brazilian plot sounds crap anyway, so let's hope they've changed it.

Max Payne was a classic, by far one of my favorites. MP2 was...disappointing.

Don't expect MP3 to be anything like the first 2 as not the same developers (they are still stuck coding Alan Wake on X360 only right now!).

All they had to do was remaster in HD DX10/11 the first 2 games really.......
