i'm thinking of getting the bundle for £9.99

would you say its a game worth going back to an playing? i only played the demo.

They are pretty good, but if you can you should wait for them to be on special offer on steam again. I think it was under £2.50 before and is likely to happen again.

as per above, wait til xmas steam sales mate, they were like £1.49 each :D

first game is FANTASTIC!, 2nd isnt bad so far either

First - better story
Second - better gameplay

Both damn good though.

Really? Without wanting to discuss either in great detail to avoid spoiling it for the OP, I didn't like the way they changed bullet time mechanics for the second game.

Fantastic games and couldn't stop playing them and I would say that they are worth the tenner. Graphically the second game is still very decent looking for this day and age and first is perfectly passable too. However, you never know when stuff will go on sale with Steam and I got mine for a few quid to replace my boxed copies. If you can wait you can hunt the 'bay for them and pick them up for peanuts too or get them from the red exchange shop with smelly staff that sells them online.

Both are great games, I actually remember getting so into the second that I played it through about 3 times in a row.

I liked the mechanics of the second more, but found it a little on the short side.

yea second on is shorter but by the standards of today its long and agree with 1 had better story 2 better gun play to put its simply.

Both good games, back in the day had some of the best gfx going - obviously look a bit dated now but worth playing for story - however they appear on steam deals every few months so I would wait for that as others have said

Worth the money but they are old games so unless you are desperate to try them I'd wait for the sales. I think I paid like £3.24 and they may have been cheaper since.

I've played Max Payne (1) over a dozen times through the years, as I just can't get enough of its awesomeness. The sequel was very good too, but I really love the original.
