The max processor my board will currently take is a core2duo conroe e6700 2.66Ghz, i can get one cheap £50. I currently have a e6420 which is 2.13Ghz which i have clocked on air at 2.40 Ghz. Is it worth getting for the performance over my current cpu its just a minor upgrade but will i be able to clock it too 3Ghz. Cheers Guys.

i'd say it wasnt worth it, you can try to OC your current processor to get similar performance - saving £50 ;)
