Hi,

What is the max safe voltage to run my san dieago 3700+ at. MBM is currently showing 1.39V which I think is stock voltage for my Asus a8n-SLI.

I'm cooling it with Air moved by a Actic Cooler Freezer 64 pro and a load of case fans if that makes any difference?

Cheers in advance.

1.55V is seen to be the max safe amount. I personally run my 4600+ at 1.5V at 2.8Ghz although it is possible to run it without any increase in voltage stable at 2.8Ghz. I wrecked the memory controller on an old A64 because it was set to auto voltage (Blame Epox for not setting it to off as default).

My 3200+ is running 2.5ghz on 1.53v and idles at 35-37 degrees, and 41-43 on load. Its cooled by an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 PRO

Im on an Nforce3 ECS cheap board atm until i have the pennies to buy my crossfire cards to go with DFi i have invested in.

The HT sits around 990-1000mhz, is the within safe limits too?

That all sound ok ?

Ta

Ben

Cheers for the info Ben. I'd heard that you had to keep HT as close to 1000 as possible, but not above. I could be wrong though.

So, tonight's plan is to up the voltages and see if I can make 2.8 gig stable :-)
