Max safe voltage for mobile Athlon XP 2500+

It's more the temps you need to worry about. The XPm can take upto 2.2v, although 2.1v was the max I noticed a difference with.

2v on air is the most ive done, try to keep it 1.9 or lower though. It should start to max out at 1.85 so theres not much advantage on air above that imo

I used to run my Bartons at 2.3v (The max my mobbo would do) running 100% load 24/7 on watercooling.

I got over 18months out of them, sold them on and they are still going strong to this day (sold them well over a year ago)

My physics isnt upto scratch really but I think resistance rises with temperature so maybe its still ok. If the fan or anything failed, that cpu would die so quick and Iam always forgetting to turn my fan speed up from silent

I'm watercooled, my CPU temp goes up by about 1 degree C from 44 to 45 when I put it up to the motherboards maximum voltage at full load. :)
