Currently overclocking my 955 :)
3.6GHz 1.375 Vcore = 48*C 100% stable

Testing @ 3.8GHz 1.440 Vcore (Prime95) and temps are hitting 54*C atm (with window open) I'm only using a 120.1 rad (RX120) with two fans push/pull

Guys what would be the max temps you let your water run at safely 100% full load ?

No Corsair H50 fan boys either custom loops only please

I personally believe not to let the water temp go above 35-40'C. Above this point it (supposedly) degrades the pump reducing efficiency and life span.

Are those temps your stating the cpu temp, or the actual water temp itself?

As it does take some time for the water to reach high temps itself, my setup even when im under load for along time, my bay res is barely lukewarm to the touch.

Then if its just the cpu temp, don't worry about it. I can safely say the water temp won't be that hot, well it will eventully get that hot, but after some time.

My cpu runs cooler then that as i have far less volts, and nothing i stress it with, with my current water loop, i can not get it over 50c, even with these warm days lol.

By all means im not an expert, but i would say there is nothing to worry about, and im sure the more experienced water cooling fella's will say the same.

54'c for a cpu temp is nothing to worry about! Sorry, I thought you meant the actual temp of the water! I personally don't like things to go above 60/65'C under Full Prime 95. Although you'll never replicate that amount of heat using every day programs anyway!

Yeh don't see a problem with that, i do FAH too and even on the hotest of days i reach max of 50c, that is with my fans low though.

You will be fine, but allways best to double check when ur worried about stuff, but all seems fine.

Yes, I'd say that's ok. The AMD spec max temp is 62'C so as long as you stay under that you should be fine!

It's a bit on the hot side. The AMD max temp is at stock speed. Overclock that chip and the max temp goes down. The fact you said 'with windown open' leads me to believe it gets hotter. Prime 95 isn't the be all and end all of stability either. F&H can be more demanding. I would like to get it down below 50c.

Running F@H now and the temps are at 48'C, but i did turn up the big boy fan to m so i think that's helped a bit.
I believe that once the summer heat comes it will get to hot so I'll have to clock down at bit or buy a bigger rad ;)

Thanks for your input though guys :)
