hi guys whats he max core temps i should run on this new cpu its new from here and i am stress testing it , core are reaching 63 deg? tanks

Everyone puts the limit somewhere different. For a 65nm system, I'd not be too upset unless it broke 80 under testing. For 45nm, I tend to work to below 75.

I'm yet to see a q6600 someone has killed, and a few of them seem to have been run 24/7 at 1.6V

65nm chips are almost indestructable. They'll shut themselves down before any damage is made.

Guys, im running my Q6600 @ 3.6GHz with 1.52v, completely primed and passed intel burn test, load temps hit 82C. Is this pushing the chip too far?

Has tj max ever been officially confirmed? As ive heard reports stating 90c, some stating 95 and some of 100.

People believe it's 100. Even if it isn't, your CPU temp will be lower than is being reported so all is good.

Intel haven't released anything useful about the Q6600 TJMax, so it's only based on what people haven't been experimenting with such as 'unclewebb' over at XS with Realtemp.
