Right, I recently OCed my Athlon XP 2600 skt A by a few hundred MHz. However, I wonder if anyone knows the max "safe" vcore and temps for the chip (its a thoroughbred core), on an A7N8X deluxe mobo.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

well i think the official max temp for xps are 85 deg but most people would say anything above about 55-60 deg is too hot. I think the standard vcore is 1.65v and 1.85v is about the max i'd ever think of putting through any of the xps i ever had.
