max voltage of opteron?

anyone know what i could push my 146 opteron up to within reason... i dont mind sticking 1.65v through it and it reading 60C but i dont want to blow it up.

ive gone up to 1.55v on MBM5 and darent push it further however ive seen some people go up to 1.65v but i guess i want reassurance...

You should be able to go upto 1.65v, but I'd like to make sure the temperatures are still good. I don't think it would be a good idea for A64 to be constantly running at 60c+, so make sure you have adequate cooling.

Erm, 60 degrees is fine, do not go over 65 to be safe though

i dont mind it running a little hot as i know the chips are probably rated to 80 or 90C... its just the voltage.... so if 1.65 is fine i may do a suicide run and try to get 3.1 or 3.2ghz out of it.

and i thought my 51c max emps were hot at 1.42 volts. Im 1/2 tempted to get a greedy 3 from it. Mine booted at 1.50 but i didnt try 1.55 in bios. 1.55 is the max anyway for me without using the % inccrease
