Hey all,
I've got some Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel installed in my rig (in sig) and I was wondering, what is the safest max voltage I can use for overclocking this RAM? I have a Corsair dual channel airflow cooler installed over them.

Thanks for any advice

OK.. On the box I got them in, and on the side of the sticks, it states that I have the KHX8500D2K2/4G set, which is 1066mhz, but I just checked on CPUZ, and it states that I have the 6400 set :\, is this just a software bug? (picture below)

(its the same for both sticks)

@Big.Wayne
I'm trying for anywhere between 1180-1200, I could get my 800mhz rated crucial ballistix up to 1200 on 2.0v :D

I tried 4 or 5 old versions, and they all say the same :(, could it be they put the wrong RAM in?

The manual for my asus P5Q-pro board says that the max is 1200mhz

Another thing I did notice is that when I reset my BIOS to the default settings, should the RAM automatically run at the rated spec? because although mine is rated at 1066, it defaults to 800mhz :s
