Done quite a bit of searching, and i can really find a definative answer.

What are the maximum safe voltages for the 45nm quads before they start to degrade? i.e what do you run yours at?

general area i've found was

core voltage about 1.4V
same for fsb termination?
(obviously taking temps into account)
with ~1.25v being average stock VIDs

was just wondering what the general consensus was..

Core voltage - 1.4v under load
FSB Term - 1.4v
PLL - 1.58v

Those are the estimated safe sensible limits. But they shouldn't need any higher than them anyway.

I went much higher with my Q9450 for benchmarking (needed to for the high FSB clocking demanded by the Q9450), but didn't exceed them for my everyday overclock.
