Are these any good? My neighbour is selling one cheap and it’s in mint condition.

I was going to stick it in the garage and give it a go.
 
I got one, I like it. low impact on my knees etc and adds arm movements in so a bit better for cardio than just pedalling on a bike. one thing, they're prone to becoming very squeaky; if you google it, there's a bunch of stuff about sorting it by cleaning the rollers/roller paths as I recall. mine's getting a bit like an angry mouse so i'll have to hunt out those vids again myself.
check the roof height though, they're pretty tall when you take the extended handles into account.
 
no, it's not that angled. the only thing that took getting used to is when i use the fixed handlebars rather than the moving ones - they still go up and down and it feels like they're going to take your nose off

Good to hear that neither of you have had problems because if you look at the Amazon reviews people have posted pics of parts that have failed.
