Maxim £10 for 2 years subscription

I had the previous offer, don't think I'll bother this time as the magazine is starting to just fill my room with more garbage.

I signed up to Maxim once because it was practically free. It's rubbish. They wouldn't stop sending it to me even after my free 3 months ran out. I wasn't paying for it but they wouldn't stop sending it even after I rang them up a few times. Spam.

tbh, I've never read maxim, is it that bad?
my sis got a copy of GQ last week (the boat she works on is in there) and I was flipping though it, but it was all adverts :(

GQ is amazing. i picked up a copy of the american one in Greece last year and it was the best magazine ever. there was a load of ads, but when isnt there?

I seem to remember Maxim phoning me up after I'd had a three month £1 trial to get some free toiletries. I told them I was now subscribed to a different magazine (the short-lived Jack, which was actually bloody good) as well as GQ and wasn't interested. In an attempt to win me back the guy basically implied that those mags' content were too upmarket for me and Maxim reflected my obviously debauched and somewhat poorer lifestyle. Way to sell it.

Maybe he had a point? : )

GQ is for yuppies tbh.

That isn't what yuppy means.

GQ is aimed at the style conscious and generally the readers interpret if they read GQ they are somehow stylish.

yer, i got the deal last time it came around figuring for ~40p each it couldn't be all that bad. How wrong was i, read about 3 of them, if you can call looking in dicust at the drivil they call articles and threw the rest away without even bothering to read them. A couple of time i thought, "nar, its can't be that bad" tryied to read one and went back to the bin it on site option - total tripe!

(oh and the nekid ladies are damn rubish too!)
