Maximising and 2 Monitors

So, I'm not entirely sure this is the right place to post this, but hopefully someone might have a suggestion.

I'm currently running 2 monitors, and quite a lot of the time I am watching a video on one screen and working on the other. This is all well and good when I'm watching things in VLC, but I have yet to find a way to maximise web based videos and keep them maximised on one screen, while still being able to work (re: click) on my primary screen. Things such as youtube, streams etc., instantly minimise again to within the browser.

Is there a way around this?

It's Flash, a right pain the ass, I have exactly the same issue, it will minimise regardless of which monitor the video window is in.

Yeah, always flash videos - I assumed there were probably quite a few with the same issue :D
Seems like such a simple thing to not have a workaround though.

EDIT: Looks like I spoke too soon :D Thanks a lot, will check it out.

Ive found that by maximising the flash window and then very very quickly clicking on another screen, it leaves the flash part maximised :)

I find the best way is to use the zoom feature of your browser and zoom into the flsh video area and the controls don;t enlarge but it's perfectly watchable
