Hi,

I'm trying to get the best out of my computer setup but not really into overclocking as i'm not sure what it is lol!!

Was getting in to BF2 game a little and was fed up of playing it on low graphics due to only having 768 MB of Ram.. so i purchased some new Gskill blocks (2 Gig Pack. After installing them we or the (MSI forum) found they can only run at 333Mhz. Ok... tried evrything last night and the graphics are still kind of jumpy on medium???

What am i doing wrong????

Anyway, My computer is a home build with the following soec:

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition
Motherboard:MSI KT4AV Model: MS-6712
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3000+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz
Memory: 2.Gb RAM (2 x Gskill F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ 1GBDDR PC4000) these are running at 333MHz due to Motherboard spec.
NVidia (Winfast) Geforce FX5600 256MB (latest Drivers installed yesterday)
CreativeSoundbalster Audigy Sound card (not too sure how to find out what spec though)
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

Ok... so maybe head staight for a Geforce Card... other than the slots on the motherboard, what are the pros for PCi V's APG cards. .. better still... what's best for games in gen.

Thanx :D

Also read somewhere that in BF2 your sound card can cause problems...??

Hey Guys,

thanx for all the replies.

Re: WIZARDMAXX reply

I'm selling an " ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB DDR 128Bit" graphics card on ebay at the moment. Should i be keeping that and selling my "NVidia (Winfast) Geforce FX5600 256MB" card instead???

R's

Gavin
