Maximum length for S-Video cable?

Hi,
Does anyone know the maximum safe length for a decent svideo cable? Im hoping to get a cable of around 15m long, would the signal be degraded?

I've used a 10m one with no great loss of signal.

Anyone with any experience of longer, ie 15m or 20m?

Also, what exactly do you mean by "no great loss" - was there noticable loss?
