Maximum overclock for the 3770k?

What's the maximum overclock for the 3770k?

Apparently it's 4.8GHz and 1.35V on high end air. There's an interesting video about overclocking IB here.

Obviously not all chips will do this but it should be a rough guide on whats possible. I'll be happy with 4.4-4.5GHz with my 3570K.

4.8 on normal unchilled water cooling 2. After 1.35 temperatures skyrocket on all coolers no matter if its 50f or 250f.
4.8 is like ivy overclocking cap for 24/7

Thanks for that video, so basically you don't want to exceed 4.8GHz as a rule of thumb.

That's my understanding of it yes. And make sure the volts don't go over 1.35V.
